FUORISALONE 2026
On the occasion of Salone del Mobile 2026, Galleria Luisa Delle Piane is pleased to present Please Come In, a group exhibition of projects conceived around the first space encountered in a home: the entrance. Much more than a simple passageway, the entrance naturally acts as a filter between the outside world and domestic intimacy. It is a place of representation, often overlooked and, in modern homes, sometimes considered a waste of space. It is the first place where we present ourselves, express who we are, and recognize our identity—a space that reveals much about us, even though we usually approach it with practicality in mind. The entrance reflects the style of those who live in it: a bookshelf that holds memories, a mirror for one last glance before leaving, a shelf to place the things not to forget, a light to switch on to bring the home to life. With Please Come In, Galleria Luisa Delle Piane brings attention back to the importance of the entrance by asking the designers for their interpretation of this space: what would you like to find in your home’s entrance?
In occasione del Salone del Mobile 2026, la Galleria Luisa Delle Piane è lieta di presentare Please Come In, una mostra collettiva di progetti realizzati pensando al primo spazio che si incontra in casa: l’ingresso. Molto più di un semplice passaggio, filtro per natura tra esterno e l’intimità domestica, considerato luogo di rappresentanza, spesso sottovalutato e considerato, nelle case moderne, come uno spreco di spazio. È il primo luogo dove ci presentiamo, rappresentiamo, riconosciamo; un luogo che dice molto di noi, uno spazio dove solitamente pensiamo alla praticità. L’ingresso descrive lo stile di ogni persona che lo abita: una libreria che custodisce ricordi, uno specchio per l’ultimo sguardo prima di uscire, una mensola dove lasciare gli oggetti da non dimenticare, la luce da accendere per dar vita alla casa. La Galleria Luisa Delle Piane con Please Come In riporta l’attenzione sull’importanza dell’ingresso chiedendo ai designer coinvolti la loro interpretazione del luogo: cosa desiderereste trovare nel vostro ingresso di casa?
